Baby #2 Wish List

The secret is out! We are welcoming baby #2 in February of 2021! With a new addition, comes new challenges. I’m starting to realize now (especially given this is our second child) that we may need to splurge a little on some necessities we no longer have. I’m talking about a double stroller, car seat, bottles, etc. I wanted to put together a list of things that I think are worthy of spending a little more money on. Mainly because with my first, I think I could have done a better job at researching which baby products were right for us and which ones weren’t needed!

Contours® Element Side-by-Side Single-to-Double Stroller in Storm Grey

This stroller is 1000% a splurge item but I feel like the cost is justified by the style, functionality, and quality! It’s multi-functional and can grow with our new baby and our 1st child well into their toddler years.

Snuggle Me Organic Lounger

With Decklyn, we had a Dock-a-Tot, and although this was perfect at the time…I find the Snuggle Me to be way more comfortable. I also love that the sides of the cushions are not overly raised and the fabric being used is organic!

Snoo Smart Sleeper

This was originally a huge want with our first baby but we just couldn’t make the price happen at the time. Decklyn was extra fussy as a baby and I think this was due in part because her bassinet was not a comforting space. The snoo combines everything your baby needs for a restful sleep and does so with style in mind. Hefty price tag? Yes. But is it worth it? From what I’ve been reading online…YES.

Tiny Love Black & White Gymini Deluxe Infant Activity Play Mat With Book

There are plenty of aesthetically pleasing activity mats on the market but this is just one of many that I think is too cute to pass up.

One Step Sterilizer and Dryer Baby Brezza

I’m cringing at the fact that we never bought or received a bottle sterilizer in my first pregnancy. We went through SO many bottles just because we didn’t have one. I think this will save us money in the long run and also do the job efficiently.

MESA Infant Car Seat by UPPAbaby

Another thing we didn’t spend nearly enough money on was an infant car seat. The one we had was too flimsy and we ended up having to replace it within just a few months of having our newborn. This UPPAbaby car seat checks all the boxes for us!

Acrylic Storage Diaper Bin Storage

You truly can never have enough storage! It doesn’t hurt that these bins are the cutest things ever!

Elvie Pump

This breast pump has been everywhere lately. So many mamas have said the hype is real and if I’m being honest, I need a pump that can allow me to be mobile. Especially, with a toddler + newborn in the house.

Love To Dream Organic Sleep Swaddle

Who doesn’t love a zipper?! These sleep sacks were all Decklyn wanted to sleep in. Muslin swaddles and other options just didn’t cut it for us. If this new baby is anything like her, fingers crossed he/she loves these!

ComoTomo Newborn Bottle Set

No particular reason for these except we need new bottles. This set will be a great place to start!

Modern Changing Table, White & Pecan, WE Kids

We never used a changing table with Decklyn but this one from WE Kids is the perfect dupe to the Serena & Lily brand. More of a want than a need but that’s what a “wish list” is…right?
